P.U.R.R. West Virginia is a grass-roots, non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization funded entirely by grants and tax-deductible donations from cat lovers like you. Your donation goes directly to providing on-going care year round for abused and orphaned kitties, to heal their bodies and spirits on their way to a new chance in a furr-ever home. And for those who may not find the perfect family, PURR offers a safe place for the rest of their lives. At any given day, about 260 cats live in open rooms where they can roam and play, where they can socialize with other cats and with our volunteers. Thanks to your generosity, the cats have a quality of life they would otherwise not have.
Through your kindness, in 2013 PURR WV adopted out over 700 well socialized cats. This is an increase from 500 cats in 2012, 250 cats in 2011, and 180 in 2010! Your donations allowed us to finally build our in-house clinic where we spayed and neutered over 1000 cats in 2013 alone! With your help, we distributed cat and dog food after a big storm to area shelters, rescuers and TNR caretakers, moved a feral cat colony in Marion county, WV, created the first TNR initiative in Braxton county, WV, and joined in with Alley Cat Allies for educational material to adults and children in our communities.
You helped us achieve this! Thank you for what you continue to do for the cats in our care. Together we can make a difference, one dollar at a time. Please make a donation today to allow us to save even more lives in 2014 and keep our dream alive: make the world a more humane place, one kitty at a time! Thank you!
