P.U.R.R West Virginia is a no kill, all volunteer, cat only shelter/rescue that is saving lives and making the world a more humane place; one kitty at a time. We pride ourselves on having well adjusted, socialized kitties that are ready for a place in your heart and home.

19 Kittens were rescued by P.U.R.R. WV this weekend. 15 Kittens were rescued from Death Row at Cabell-Wayne and 4 kittens were rescued from Clay County, which does not have a shelter for cats.
Other shelters are making room by killing, P.U.R.R. WV is making room by Saving Lives, one kitty at a time! Please help us make a difference in the life of a cat. Donate Today!

Donations are needed for our new Intake Suite at P.U.R.R. West Virginia: paper towels, black 30 gallon trash bags, white kitchen trash bags, Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, rolls of heavy linoleum or medical grade linoleum flooring & money! Donations can be dropped off at 306 Beech Street Grafton, WV or at Eastern Pet Supply, Bridgeport, WV.  Thank you!

Are you ready to adopt a cat or kitten?

We have kittens and cats of all ages, shapes, sizes, and colors!   All our kitties have been spayed/neutered; vaccinated, tested, wormed and micro-chipped!!

Can’t make it to the adoption event?  Visit our shelter Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 - 3:00pm and again from 6:00 - 8:00pm or e-mail us to schedule an appointment at our facility in Grafton WV.
